How does the Aquarius W.E.T. tower produce drinking water?

The tower uses a solar chimney to drive a powerful updraft. Geo-thermally cooled air enters through underground 48-inch culverts. Cold well water (ground temperature ~12°C) is pumped to large-bore copper pipes at the atrium crown. Hot humid air rising from the deep cistern condenses on the cold pipe walls — water drips into the cistern below. The collected water then passes through a 7-stage Full Life rejuvenation pipeline: remineralization, vortex structuring, gravity-fall aeration, UV polish, and shielded storage.

How does the AWET tower generate electricity?

Three independent sources: (1) A vertical toroidal turbine inside the 70ft glass solar chimney shaft, driven by the solar updraft. (2) One Archimedes wing turbine in each of the six underground culvert vents, driven by the chimney's suction airflow. (3) A micro-hydro turbine at the tower base, driven by collected water falling from elevation. Total estimated output: 90–140 kW continuous.
